Clio Community Action Planning Sessions to Begin
Flint, MI (August 22, 2007) --
Community Challenge announces the first Community Action Planning Session (C.A.P.S.) for Clio. The process begins with a visioning session where questions such as, ‘What are the most important elements of a thriving community?’ will be addressed. Participants will then determine how their vision of a thriving community is different than the present reality. Finally, participants will decide what needs to happen to create the community in which they desire to live.
The sessions begin August 29 at the Bethany United Methodist Church, 353 E. Vienna St., Clio from 5:30 pm. – 7:30 pm (dinner is provided at 5:00 pm). Additional sessions are scheduled for September 11, September 25, and October 9, same location and time.
This is a free event and open to the public. Registration is required. Space is limited to the first 150 registrants. To register, go to www.thecommunitychallenge.org or call 810.233.5468 ext 3.
